In the last episode we saw UV agrees to marry Katha but secretly vows to make her life miserable. While he maintains a calm front, bitterness brews inside him. Katha, shattered and hopeless, feels trapped in an unwanted marriage. As wedding plans move forward, she remains unaware of UV’s cruel intentions, marking the beginning of her trials.
Now todays episode begins with Katha, a girl who was feeling lost! Torn between her dreams which were shattered and family reputation, she made up her mind to go ahead with the marriage. In a voice that had strength and eyes full of tears, she requests Mohan to do her Kanyadaan, a symbol of maturity beyond her years. Her decision leaves every one emotional.
At the same time, the wedding rituals are starting, UV is secretly making a vow in his head to cause Katha trouble. He is convinced that she has brought a bad name to him and therefore, he is the one who is going to make her life miserable after marriage. Katha, who is not aware of his plans, takes a strong stand as she is braced for any eventuality.
While the wedding ceremonies are underway, suspicion creeps into the minds of some older people. Rukmini and Eshwar, observing the rapidly increasing animosity between the bride and groom, begin to consider whether such a union will indeed be a source of peace or will, in fact, cause more strife.
Though the feeling of emotional pain is there, the wedding still goes on but with heavy hearts. Katha neither says anything nor protests but only silently carries the burden of her choices, whereas UV puts on a bit of a smile that is not there. The rooms were full of doubt. This wedding is going to be a healing or it is only going to open the wounds anew?
