Previously in the story of Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shahad Shahad we witnessed UV promises Eshwar to reunite the family, showing his growth. However, Katha, still upset over Prerna’s incident, files a police complaint against UV’s café. Mrs. Jagriti issues a closure notice, leaving UV shocked. As his café faces shutdown, UV also struggles to fulfill his emotional promise to Eshwar.
Now the story picks up with very tense moment as the police reached the college campus. They find UV and hand him a legal notice to close his café immediately. The police inform UV that this is the result of a formal registration of a complaint against him and hence, his business is in serious trouble. They also warn UV to cooperate or they would be forced to take strict action. The students and staff there see the event silently and feel the seriousness of the issue.
Quite evidently, it is Katha who has registered a complaint against UV. She views the café as the place that is the source of trouble for the college students who have not been safe, especially in the light of the Prerna incident. Although UV is trying to be calm in front of the police, his silence speaks that he is deeply hurt by Katha’s decision.
Once the police have left, UV is walking back to his café without saying a word. Instead of arguing, he directly goes to the kitchen, starts cooking, and controls his feelings as if it were a game. He is still on the outside, but it is quite evident to those who can read the signs that he is very troubled at heart. His friends have noticed the change in the way he behaves but have not yet decided to question him.
As there is a threat of closure hanging over the café, students begin to whisper about what would be the next course of action. UV’s loyal customers feel sad and confused. The café which was once vibrant with life now appears to be dull and heavy with tension. Meanwhile, UV is still at work without showing any sign of frailty. He seems to have made up his mind that he will not let his anger take control of him even at a time when all the things are not falling in his favor.
