In the last episode we saw Eshwar plans UV and Katha’s marriage, keeping it secret from the family. UV grows suspicious and begins digging for answers. Meanwhile, Mohan is shocked by the proposal and struggles to reveal Katha’s hatred for men. Katha, unaware, firmly declares she won’t marry, while UV vows not to marry a “nerd.”
Now todays episode begins with The episode started with Katha passing Mohan’s room when she accidentally heard him talking about her marriage with a person. His voice was very firm as if he was telling who made the decision. A tone of finality was there in his voice, as if decisions were being made without her consent. Katha suddenly came to a stop, feeling a sudden burst of anxiety. She slipped away quietly, full of fear and confusion in her mind.
Katha goes in her room and lockdowns herself there, trying to remain calm. She ponders all the things which are happening in the surroundings - the arrest of UV, her future and suddenly the topic of marriage. The further she goes with her thoughts, the more she finds that she will still have a say in her life decisions, or not. She removes a tear, resolved to stay firm.
While that is going on, at the Jindal house, Eshwar calls UV for a serious talk. He informs UV that the only way he will facilitate him reopening his café is if he agrees to get married. UV is speechless. The condition of support that he came with just surprised him. Eshwar is sure that marriage will give UV the necessary emotional and financial stability and at the same time it will be a coverage for the recent controversy.
UV doesn’t give any immediate reply; however, he appears to be in deep thought. Simultaneously, Katha stays at the window, gazing at the sky and her mind goes through questions one after another. Both are at a decision point, still unaware that their fates might be more intertwined than they imagine. At the closing scene of the episode, one is left with a question: will love thrive when under pressure or will it shatter when faced with expectations?
