In the last episode we saw Noyontara, drowning in self-doubt, questions her worth of love. Meanwhile, Surjo is shaken by the unexpected arrival of a woman from his past. As emotions stir, Noyontara releases a hopeful letter into the river, wishing for true love.
Now todays episode begins with deep emotions as Noyontara prepares to leave for Kolkata. Though she is surrounded by family, her heart is filled with uncertainty. The thought of attending a big function worries her, especially when she’s unsure how she’ll be treated. Tears in her eyes and memories in her mind, Noyontara hugs her family goodbye, unaware of what awaits her in the city.
On the other side, Surjo continues to live in guilt over Shaoli’s death. A flashback reveals that he blamed himself for not checking his car brakes. His mother tries to ease his pain, calling it an accident, but Surjo remains broken. He feels responsible for Shaoli’s death and says the guilt will stay with him forever. His mother tries to console him and promises to find someone who will bring back happiness in his life.
Meanwhile, Surjo’s grandmother tries to manipulate him by saying that Shaoli’s death might not have been an accident. She hints that someone may have tampered with the brakes to stop Surjo from marrying Shaoli. Her words shake Surjo, though she gives no names. She warns him not to marry again, saying he will never love another woman like he loved Shaoli, and doing so would hurt Shaoli’s spirit.
Earlier, Noyontara dreamt of getting married in a mandap created by Ashiram. The groom’s face was hidden, but she smiled seeing herself dressed as a bride. The dream quickly fades as she wakes up to reality. Soon after, her father arrives and asks her to return home. With a heavy heart, she agrees, but doubts about her place in the upcoming event fill her mind.
